Group Marketing & Communication Manager

Role of Group Marketing & Communication Manager

At Selecta, a high-performing marketing organization is an essential building block of our success. While marketing is a locally managed in our countries, the group is responsible for enabling and ensuring the outcomes in the countries. The Group Marketing & Communication Manager is responsible for ensuring high-performance across our organization and enabling the markets with the capabilities, tools, and content needed to win. The role reports to the Director Innovations and Business Intelligence and will work in close collaboration with the local marketing teams, to provide markets with the right strategies, tools, insights and plans to step change our business.

Your responsibilities

  •  Act as Brand owner and refresh brand standards and visual identity and maintain asset management for our Selecta and associated brands
  •  Enable country marketing teams by coordinating the Selecta Marketing Community, including the annual Marketing Summit, serving as first point of contact for the countries for questions, and collecting and sharing best practices and content across countries
  • Enable country capabilities through tools, trainings, etc.
  • Coordinate group wide external communications with senior stakeholders, handle and respond to media requests, and coordinate with external agencies  
  •  Manage content internally and through agencies/freelances/translators (includes managing in-house graphic design)
  •  Manage marketing projects (e.g., upgrade of merchandising articles, etc.)
  •  Manage group marketing budget and support review of annual country marketing plans and budgets at group level and enable tracking and reporting of performance (including dashboards) in collaboration with countries and controlling


Your qualifications:

  • University degree with focus on marketing, media, or communication or equivalent education
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience with track record in (B2B) marketing and communications
  • Broad experience in marketing, including agency management, branding, content strategy, external communications and public relations, planning & budgeting, effectiveness and performance analysis, and use of tools
  • Experience with content creation, graphic design, and editorial skills preferred
  • Strong relationship management skills and proven track record in project management
  • Excellent communication skills in English, additional European languages are a plus
  • Located in a Selecta Group/ Switzerland or country office
